Signing the Petition
By signing the petition you are asking Government for an extension of the lower rate of VAT for food and beverages sold in pubs, with a view to making this permanent; an overall reduction in beer duty and alcohol duty reforms that supports British pubs and beer as a lower strength product; and lower Business Rates for pubs equitable to other similar businesses. We will submit a petition to Government ahead of the next budget outlining this.
